when fools role

In a world where wisdom whispers soft,
And truth often hovers just out of sight,
The fools take the stage, their egos aloft,
Dancing in shadows, basking in light.
With masks made of laughter, they play their part,
Each line a façade, each gesture a jest,
In roles that they wear like a shield for their heart,
They leap and they tumble, oblivious to rest.
When fools play the king, the crown's full of rust,
Their scepters are crooked, their thrones made of clay,
Yet in their grand folly, there’s something to trust—
They challenge the norms, in their own quirky way.
And the jester, so wise, with a heart full of grace,
Cracks jokes about life, while reflecting the truth,
For in every stumble, in every misplaced chase,
Lies a fleeting moment, a glimpse of our youth
