The 6th Sense

My hands grow numb, they can not feel.
My eyes grow dim, can't tell what's real.
My senses die, now what's the deal.
All I can smell is hate and fear.
The voice of reason I can not hear.
My senses die, I once held dear.
My mouth fills with lies.
And my last sense dies.
Out of darkness, a light did shine.
A new cloud is born, with silver line.
Drums were beating, perfect rhythm and time.
A heart was beating, I know it was mine.
That's when I realized, I'm not very smart.
This entire time, I could feel with my heart.
With my heart's sight.
I could see the light.
With my heart, now I could smell.
The beauty of the world, from which I fell.
With my heart's senses, I could tell.
The place in which I live, is no longer hell.
With my heart's hearing, I could listen to the truth.
With my hearts voice, I could even speak it too.
My heart may cry, but it will never lie.
My heart may feel pain, but that feeling keeps me sane.
My heart may feel sorrow, but I live in the light of tomorrow.
Body and mind, forever intertwined.
