In the Silence Between Us

When you stand in front of a woman,

learn to understand what she didn’t say,

the unspoken words that dance in the air,

woven in silences, in subtle display.

Her eyes may shimmer with stories untold,

their depths hold secrets, yet to unfold.

A flicker of doubt, a shadow of doubt,

in the quiet, her heart’s whispers shout.

Listen closely to the pause of her breath—

it's in the stillness, where truths often rest.

The sighs that brush lightly, the tremors of grace,

every gesture, a mirror, reflecting her face.

What lies in the silence, in moments that sway,

is a rich tapestry woven with care,

not demands or desires laid bare for the day,

but a yearning, a hope that lingers in air.

So when you stand in that sacred space,

let your heart be a lantern, your soul, a safe place.

For what isn't spoken can often resound,

an echo of wisdom where love can be found.
