Strong to be silent,
Patient like the heart,
That waits for its beating, its timing and start.
Still as the breeze, dead in the trees,
Not a whisper, no murmur,
Thats says what she needs.
Here here she will stand,
For as long a she needs,
To wait for that moment when love will succeed.
He knows the way back, yet will he return?
Will he come home to her answering urn?
For he told her to wait, and thats what she did,
No eating, no movment, till he reappears.
And there she is now, wasting away,
Wishing and hoping today is the day.
Darkness empowering, shes losing her way,
Lost in the stillness,
And skies fading grey.
Her eyelids close softly and she dissapears,
From the body she knows to the spirit she fears.
So there she stands waiting,
Alone in her days,
Noone can hear see her or hear what she says.
For he said he still loved her, he said he'd come back.
And nows she has eternity to realise his lack.
Patient like the heart,
That waits for its beating, its timing and start.
Still as the breeze, dead in the trees,
Not a whisper, no murmur,
Thats says what she needs.
