She sits on the porch

She sits on the porch all day long.
As the seasons pass, so does her young age.
She greets summer in a yellow dress,
She embraces autumn with open arms.
She waits for winter impatiently, for the snow.
Covered in white, hidden from the iciness of her neighbors
Spring approaches her cautiously,
And covers the garden with roses
She is alienated by others because of her shell,
Yet nobody knows,
The memories which leave her wounded
No one dares to step in her shoes
For they fear her sadness will overcome them.
Hoping that time will heal all,
She sits on the porch.
