Within the confines of the mind

There's a war being waged within the heart of man.
Adam's first sin against God's master plan.
The aged old classic of good versus evil,
This Duality I fight within my soul.
But what decides what is Angel’s Ballad,
 And what is Devil’s Song?
One man's right is another man's wrong!!
The silent war wages dusk to dawn,
All participate whether the queen or the pawn!.
The battle is real and you have to take a side,
On your decision does the result ride.
There are those true saints who follow the Master's plan,
Then those who belong to the Satan’s clan!
There are fence sitters, who straddle both side,
To the highest bidder will they abide!
How does this duality survive within the confines of the mind?
Surely, one must win and the other will lose!
Outcome will be settled by,
 What we feed our mind,
And whom we choose to Amuse!
If we nurture for good,
then evil grows hungry and cold,
If we work in a
little evil it will take root and little by little,
Good will lose the hold.
The complexities of the duality are great indeed; we all must
feed one or the other.
So my question can only be, what's on your table and who
are you having for dinner.
